Sustainable local water solutions through community participation

Maro Rossou, thesis, Mexico

This research project, carried out by Sustainable Energy Technology graduate student Maro Rossou, focuses on understanding the importance of community participation in the development and implementation of novel water technologies in indigenous Mexican communities. The fieldwork for this project was carried out in central Mexico as part of a larger project coordinated by GreenID, a company committed to sustainable development. The findings of this research show that community participation provides valuable input for sustainable development projects, in particular when assessing the needs of the community.
