TGD Photo Competition 2025

  • TU/e - Eindhoven University of Technology Atlas Building, Floor 8, Room 8.404 Eindhoven The Netherlands (map)

Capture Impact, Inspire Change: Enter the TGD Photo Competition!

Have you worked on an inspiring project abroad? Do you have powerful photos that tell a story of impact, collaboration, and change? Now’s your chance to showcase your experience and inspire fellow students to take action!

TGD - Technology for Global Development is an organization that gathers students & staff from TU/e which aims to inspire innovative solutions towards sustainable development by collaborating with NGOs, social enterprises and education institutions around the world. Find more info at www.tgd.tue.nl

We’re inviting students and staff members to submit their best photos from their projects abroad that highlight innovation, community engagement, and sustainable development. Did you do your MSc project on sustainability of rural electrification projects in Indonesia? Or did you go on a fantastic study trip to Brazil? Or did you go to an interesting conference in Tanzania?

TGD is looking for your most impressive photos and will choose the 12 most interesting pictures to exhibit them at the TU/e, around the Energy Forum. Hopefully, your photos will inspire other students or staff members to participate in similar projects and activities. We would also like to organize an exhibition-style event to showcase the pictures where you will also be able to present the story behind them.

How to participate?

  • Send in a maximum of 4 photos with a small description of what’s on the picture (max. 15 words)

  • Only submit photos that were taken by you from the project itself, or during the time you were on your trip. No photos from other sources like internet.

  • Be aware that these photos might be used for TGD promotion in Social media and website.

Please send the photos to tgd@tue.nl until April 6th 2025!

The 12 best entries will receive a fancy printed copy of their photo, and a token of appreciation from TGD 😊

Looking forward to your contribution!
